A highlight on the website of the Office of Science at the U.S. Department of Energy was recently published about our work at DIII-D.

The article titled “An Innovation for Fusion Device Walls May Have Unexpected Benefits for the Core” focuses on “a technique that suppresses damaging instabilities also improves the exhaust of helium ‘ash’ in the DIII-D tokamak, improving conditions for fusion.”
